JULY 4th’s BLOG
The delicious aroma of outdoor BBQ’s filling the air. The sun’s rays beaming down on you and children being released for summer vacation. Summer has finally arrived! Grab your sunglasses and sunscreen; be prepared for Fourth of July this year. When I think of Independence Day it reminds me of family being together enjoying a BBQ or enjoying a day at the beach. Of course we can’t forget the Fireworks, that’s the best part!
But, let’s not forget the real reason why we celebrate Fourth of July. It’s America’s birthday! On July 2nd, 1776 we signed the Declaration of Independence to become separate from the British Government rules that prevented them from voting on any laws and being unfairly taxed. So because this day is considered to be the most memorable day in America’s history, it lead us to be the country we are today. Today we put together BBQ’s, picnic’s, parades and fireworks to celebrate or country’s Independence.
So go big! Start planning and prioritizing your get-togethers! Get out all your patriotic decorations; streamers, tables clothes, and napkins! Get all your family together, and don’t forget enjoy every moment like it’s your last. Go to the beach, sit by the pool, and apply that sunblock! Hotdogs and hamburgers, and that special dessert with American flag frosting. Laughter and sharing stories, memories you can only make once. Just like every other holiday please remember safety first. We can all have a good time and still be safe doing so. Keep a first-aid kit handy and collect those keys if someone has had too many drinks. Party hard and stay safe. Get ready early for your Fourth of July party’s and be creative! Happy Fourth of July!
